The Eiffel scholarship program has been developed by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs to enable French higher education establishments to attract the best foreign students for Master’s and PhD degree programs.
The scholarship program is designed to train future foreign decision-makers in the private and public sectors in priority fields of study:
- Biology and health
- Ecological transition
- Mathematics and data science
- Engineering sciences
- French history, language, and civilization
- Law and Political Science
- Economics and Management
In addition, this program encourages applications from foreign students aged 27 or under for Master’s programs and 30 or under for PhD program.
Master’s degree: Eiffel scholarship holders receive a monthly grant of 1181€, in addition to which a range of other expenses are covered by the scholarship, for example the travel expenses to the destination.
PhD: Eiffel scholarship holders receive a monthly grant of 1800€, in addition to which a range of other expenses are covered by the scholarship, for example the travel expenses to the destination.
Are you interested? To apply, identify a French institution offering a master’s degree or a doctoral program that interests you and contact the institution’s International Relations department well in advance before January 8th. The establishment will inform you of the procedures and deadline for applying for the Eiffel scholarship.
Please note that it is the institution that applies for this scholarship program, not the student. The institutions must send the applications at latest on the 8th of January 2025.
