Scolarships for French+Sciences summer schools 2024

The French Institute of Finland will fully cover participation costs of two to three students from Finland: Travel, accommodation, tuition fees, insurance and living allowance. The 2024 edition of the French+Sciences programme offers five themes: Sustainable Development, Mountain Science, Micro/Nano/Smart Technologies, Sea Sciences and Technologies, and Transport and Energy. Application deadline: April 2, 2024.

The French+Sciences summer schools, in English (it is not necessary to speak French), have been designed for international students aged 18 and over. The programme, which lasts three to four weeks depending on the theme, combines an introduction to French, discovery of a regional ecosystem in France and cutting-edge science: Conferences, debates, meetings with those involved in the field: researchers, innovators, companies, and start-ups.

In 2024, five summer schools are proposed:
  1. Focus on sustainable development, June 9-28, 2024, in Montpellier
  2. Micro, nano & smart technologies for industrial applications, June 3-28, 2024, in Besançon
  3. Sea sciences and technologies, June 17 – July 5, 2024, in Brest
  4. Focus on transport and energy, May 27 – June 14, 2024, in Rouen
  5. Focus on mountain science, June 3-21, 2024, in Chambéry »

These summer schools offer to students in a higher education institution, or in a high school or vocational school a unique opportunity to come into contact with science in a way that encourages debate and reflection and can help them to develop their study plans.
