To celebrate the bicentenary of Louis Pasteur’s birth, the Institut Pasteur – Musée Pasteur has designed an “exhibition” that retraces the life and work of Louis Pasteur. This exhibition allows visitors to discover, through eleven panels, his major scientific works, some significant episodes of his private life and his scientific legacy.
This exhibition has been produced with the support and endorsement of Louis Pasteur’s experts: Sandra Legout, head of the heritage fund and referent of the historical archives at the Institut Pasteur, Erik Orsenna, academician and ambassador of the Institut Pasteur and the Pasteur Network, Annick Perrot, honorary curator of the Musée Pasteur and Maxime Schwartz, honorary director general of the Institut Pasteur.
From 14 October to 11 November, the exhibition can be viewed in the premises of the French Institute from Tuesday to Saturday, during the opening hours of the media library.
The exhibition is in French and a booklet in English is available to visitors.
Admission is free of charge.
For group visits, please send a request in advance to institut@france.fi
