On November 7, The French Institute of Finland organizes a unique conference about new communication technologies with Marco di Renzo, the Director of Research at CNRS and the winner of numerous prestigious awards (such as the Michel Montpetit Prize from the French Academy of Sciences). During the event, he will present the latest advancements in 6G and associated emerging technologies.
6G, much more than just a technological evolution, promises a new milestone in the transformation of the way we communicate and interact. In his presentation, Mr. Di Renzo will address electromagnetic efficiency, ecological footprint, and data security, in a context where the race for 6G raises both technical and societal questions.
In addition to his role as Director of Research at CNRS, Marco Di Renzo is the Vice-Chairman of the Intelligent Metamaterials Working Group at the European Telecommunications Standards Institute. He thus works as a key actor in the standardization of future technologies on a European level. He is also the winner of the 2023 France-Nokia Chair of Excellence, an award presented annually by the Nokia Foundation and the French Institute of Finland.
This French-language presentation will be followed by a discussion with the audience, providing a forum for dialogue on the technological and ethical issues of tomorrow. The event will conclude with a convivial wine and cheese reception.
Free entry upon reservation.
