A Franco-Finnish PhD cotutelle allows you to conduct doctoral research under the joint supervision of two thesis advisors, one from an institution in France and the other in Finland. This unique opportunity offers an enriching international research experience, alternating your time between the two institutions. Upon defending your thesis, you will be awarded either a joint degree from both institutions or two separate degrees.

Who Can Apply?
- Students who wish to begin a PhD cotutelle between France and Finland.
- PhD candidates already enrolled in one of the two countries who would like to develop their thesis within the framework of a cotutelle.
Scholarship Amount and Duration: The Magnus Ehrnrooth Foundation offers funding of €30,000 per year, for a maximum duration of four years. This financial support enables you to pursue your PhD project under optimal conditions.
