Come and introduce your students to the French Institute in Finland while teaching them about culture, high school mobility programs, and studies in France, among other things. With our 5 different modules, you can choose the one that suits your group and your needs the best, and we will do the rest to welcome you in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Here’s the content of the different modules:
The French Institute, the Media Library, and High School Mobility Module: This provides an overview of the Institute’s activities, the functioning of the media library, and a brief presentation of Campus France and high school mobilities organized by the French Institute. This module is primarily aimed at high school students
The “Cultural News” Module: This module presents the Institute and its activities, with a focus on the media library. It also covers current French cultural events. It introduces contemporary artists in various fields (music, literature, online content creation) and offers resources to help students hear and read more French in their daily lives, whether it’s for information or entertainment.
The “Gastronomy” Module: This module explores the cultural differences related to food in France and Finland. It includes customs and traditions related to meals and presents a selection of regional specialities.
The “Break the Stereotypes” Module: This module aims at deconstructing young people’s stereotypes about France. We will introduce them to other French pride beyond the baguette and the Eiffel Tower, encouraging them to explore the possibilities of French and France.
The “Higher Education” Module: This module presents various study options in France (full programs, exchanges, double degrees). It also provides examples of different educational paths and discusses the financial aspects of studies.
After the presentation, your students will have the opportunity to visit our library, get a free library card, and create a Culturethèque account to get access to magazines, podcasts, books, and more online. We also offer the option of visiting your school for a presentation during your French class, saving you the trip. The group must be accompanied by their French teacher.
Visiting hours: Visits can be scheduled from Monday to Friday between 9 AM and 3 PM.
