Join us for an exceptional evening dedicated to Francophone literature! This event, organized for the first time at the French Institute, will feature an open mic and a literary speak dating session.
During the open mic, you will have the opportunity to present an excerpt from a literary work, a poem, or share an anecdote about a Francophone author who inspires you. Each presentation is limited to 3 to 5 minutes. Your contribution (in Finnish or French) is welcome in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Participants will be invited on stage on a first-come, first-served basis. You can also attend the open stage as a spectator and let yourself be carried away by the stories and suggestions of the speakers.
Following the open mic, we will move on to a literary speak dating session, allowing you to discuss literary themes in small groups in French. The session will be structured into several discussion rounds, giving you the chance to meet as many participants as possible. The Institute’s staff will be available to assist beginners.
The event will be hosted in French and English, while performances can take place in either French or Finnish (more information below). Free entry upon registration.
