The French Institute of Finland invites you to the screening of “Le Temps d’aimer”, directed by the French filmmaker Katell Quillévéré! This film, starring Vincent Lacoste, Anaïs Demoustier, and Morgan Bailey, was screened as a part of the “Cannes Première” selection and was a runner-up for the Queer Palm at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
Synopsis: 1947. On a Normandy beach, Madeleine, a waitress at a hotel-restaurant and mother of a young boy, meets François, a wealthy and cultured student. There is an immediate connection between them. While we learn what she hopes to leave behind by following this young man, we gradually discover what François is trying to escape by intertwining Madeleine’s fate with his own…
