“Three friends” is a French dramedy set in Lyon, following a group of adult friends trying their best to listen to their hearts without causing too much pain to their loved ones. Joan (India Hair) no longer loves her husband, and the feeling, which feels like a lie, won’t leave her in peace. Her best friend Alice (Camille Cottin) offers support by admitting that although her own relationship is stable, the spark seems to be missing. However, Alice is unaware that her husband is having an affair with their mutual friend Rebecca (Sara Forestier). When Joan finally takes a decisive step, her friends, too, get caught up in a whirlwind of fear, joy, and tangled relationships.
The premiere on April 8th at 7:30 PM is organized in partnership with the Cinema Orion. Located in the Kamppi district of Helsinki, Cinema Orion is a gem of Art Deco. The theater, originally designed for silent films, has been continuously in operation since March 1928, when it first opened to the public. The cinema’s comfortable seats are often described as “the most comfortable in the city.”
