Alternative rock and melodic indie pop combining Phoenix returns to Helsinki after 20 years of waiting! This critically acclaimed and Grammy award-winning group has been headlining festivals from Coachella to Primavera, and they are definitely one of the most anticipated acts at this years’ line up.
In early November, Phoenix released their long-awaited album “Alpha Zulu”, which was named the album of the year already prior to its release. The French band, who create and record their music in atypical spaces, recorded the album at the Louvre Palace and it truly is a spectacular and anticipated return after a five-year hiatus. As a live act, the band is known for its visually stunning and comprehensive stage shows.

Electronic and dreamy shoegaze-pop is in store when the French m83 jumps on stage! The name m83 has been making music for over 20 years and has deservedly established itself as one of the top names in the genre. Named after a spiral-shaped galaxy, the band’s music takes you to another dimension thanks to their clever echo effects, tonal soundscapes and soft lyrics.
Known for their smash hit “Midnight City”, the group has now established itself as a solo project by one the founding members, Anthony Gonzales. However, on gigs the stage is filled by an entire band, and the live performance is really absolutely worth waiting for and seeing!
