Monday, November 20, 2023 17:00

The French Institute of Finland will organize a live paint-mapping concert on November 20th, starting at 18 o’clock at Valkoinen Sali in Helsinki. This event is a collaboration between three artists: Jules Guissart (France), Jacques-André Dupont Castro (France/Colombia), and DJ JEKU (Finland).

Live paint-mapping is a unique art form that combines music, digital art, and mural painting. During the show, Jacques-André Dupont Castro projects digital animations on a large wall, following the rhythms of DJ JEKU‘s music. Simultaneously, Jules Guissart adds his touch to the spectacle by creating paintings that adapt to the music and the animations of Hall and Dupont Castro. The combination of painting, music, and light provides the audience with a magical spectacle in constant transformation.

This live paint-mapping concert is part of “November Numérique,” a month dedicated to digital cultures organized by the French Institute of Paris and the French cultural network abroad. To celebrate this month, Dupont Castro and Guissart bring their art to all of the Nordic capitals.

Free admission with reservation. We recommend you to act quickly due to the limited capacity of the event (100 places). A cloakroom fee will be charged at the entrance of Valkoinen Sali (3.90 €). The age limit for the event is 18 years.

The number of seats being limited, we kindly ask you to register only if you are certain that you can attend the event. If, however, you are unable to attend, please send an email to communication@france.fi at least 24 hours before the event to cancel your ticket and free up the seat for another person. Thank you for your understanding.
