At the Language Café, you can also test simultaneous interpreting in a real booth with professional interpreters!
The language café is organized by the European Commission Representation in Finland in cooperation with the embassies and language institutes of the various EU countries as well as Oodi Helsinki Cental Library.
The language café takes just over an hour and is free of charge. The event is aimed for students in grades 7−9 and upper secondary schools. A maximum of 20 students per school can be registered to the event.

From 16.30-17.30 on the third floor of Oodi, a poetry recital of a poem of the Nobel Prize winning poet Wisława Szymborsk will take place in all the official languages of the EU and in Polish.
The event is organized in cooperation with the European Commission Representation and the Embassy of Poland in Finland.
The poetry recital is free of charge and open for all.
