Ceramics Workshop in French

Have you always dreamed of learning how to craft your own mug, bowl, or decorative ceramic object? This workshop is for you!

As part of the Thursdays of the Institute event series, the French Institute of Finland and Studio M Keramik invite you to a French-language pottery workshop on May 22, from 5 pm to 7 pm.

During the workshop, you will learn how to create simple handmade objects of your choice, which you can collect 2 to 3 weeks later, once they have dried. The technique used in this course is hand-building.

No prior pottery experience is needed! The workshop is open to adults as well as children aged 6 and above.

The participation fee is €55 per person. By registering for the event, you’ll also receive a 15% discount on Studio M Keramik’s regular pottery courses (€145).

Studio M KeramikStudio M Keramik is a pottery studio located in the Punavuori district of Helsinki. It’s founded by ceramic artist Mia Saporito, who has studied pottery in various countries and schools, including the Harvard Ceramics Program in the United States. In addition to classes, the studio’s shop offers a curated selection of handmade ceramic items: jewelry, decorative objects, and custom-made pieces.
