The program, lasting three to four weeks depending on the theme, combines an introduction to French, discovery in English of a cutting-edge scientific ecosystem in France: conferences, debates, meetings with players in the field: researchers, engineers and innovators, companies and startups.
In 2025, five summer schools are on offer:
- Focus on sustainable development, from June 8 to 28 in Montpellier
- Outdoor sports, from May 30 to June 20 in Chambéry
- Micro, nano & smart technologies for industrial applications, June 2 to 27, Besançon
- Sciences and technology of the sea, June 18 to July 12 in Brest
- Focus on energy and decarbonisation: new challenges for society, from June 9 to June 27 in Rouen.
The French+Sciences program is open to international students (university, university of applied sciences, vocational training) aged 18 or over. French is not required.
