All across France, Epiphany is celebrated by sharing a galette des rois (King Cake). In this spirit, the French institute of Finland invites you to an evening dedicated to this tradition, where you can learn about its origins and taste exceptional galettes!

During the evening, our partner Chez Janet will present the history of this French tradition, and then offer a chance to sample a variety of top-quality galettes, directly imported from Paris. As tradition dictates, the person who finds the fève – a little porcelain figurine hidden in the cake – will be crowned the queen or king of the event!

Free admission upon registration. The galettes will be available for purchase on-site at Chez Janet’s regular prices (4,80€ / piece). The event will be held in English. Sign up now via the button below!
