“Encountering Joy” exhibition

This exhibition, curated and designed by Finnish artist Sanna Karlsson-Sutisna, is a collaboration between 4 artists: Ange & Dam (France), Ladji San Papier (Burkina Faso) and Sanna Karlsson Sutsina herself.

The works in the exhibition represent a range of techniques, from paintings on fabric to sculptures made from old utensils and dance videos. The artists are all linked by their shared love of Africa.

Admission is free upon reservation.

The works will be on show at the French Institute in Finland from 28 September to 29 October 2023.
